“Before field goal attempts, The Net Return Extra Point allows kickers more warm up reps. With the old nets, the ball would go in the back of the net and stay there, and a lot of times players’ helmets would get caught when they retrieved it. I always talk to the kickers from the opposing teams, and they’ve liked the new net, too. I think in a few years it’ll be the standard in the league.”

"For the past three years, we at Bridgestone Golf have used The Net Return in our Ball Fitting program. The Net Return has proven to be the best available hitting net on the market. With more than 25 units around the United States and many more overseas, our Net Return's catch a minimum of 400,000 shots per year. The quality and durability of the nets are the reason we choose The Net Return year in and year out. Not only is the product proven, but the staff at The Net Return provides service that is bar none, the best out there!"

The Net Return is a new hitting net made out of heavy duty netting, that is designed in such a way that the ball returns to your feet after every swing. This net is easy to setup and packs into a duffle bag for storage or travel. It can be used for multiple sports and gives you the ability to practice your sport in the comfort of your home.

There are many less expensive nets on the market but they fall short in quality which may lead to safety issues. If you want to hit golf balls at full speed and want something that will stand the test of time then you should look at the "The Net Return".

The Net Return – An Ingenious and Invaluable Tool

December 31st, 2009
(A Blog Post)

With any item you order by mail, sight unseen, there is always skepticism. Even more so when you have the record of failure that I have had trying to buy a golf net so I could practice at home. I am glad to say though that I have finally hit the jackpot!

I bought what is called The Net Return, which one of my co-workers that once had a setup in his home referred me to. There are multiple videos on the site that explain how it works, including assembly and disassembly. I am the world’s laziest, clumsiest, and inept handymen, which disappoints my wife to no end, but I won’t bore you with that tale of woe here. I mention it because even I, as challenged as I am in building things, was able to put the net together in no time flat, just as advertised on the site.

Here it is in my garage:

IMG_0311

I didn’t buy the accessories because I had my own mat. But I think I will be visiting home depot to put some carpeting or something on the floor so when the ball comes back to me it is not hitting pavement. But even though it is doing so it works just fine!

IMG_0312

One thing I did learn quickly is that if you own a nice car like I do, you better get it the heck out of the garage while you are practicing! I shanked one right into the right tire about 4 swings in! Luckily no damage was done!

I am convinced that to really bring the handicap down, the first step is more practice and as a practical matter this needs to be done at home and done in rain or shine. With The Net Return I am now set up for success in 2010. We’ll be getting to the New Year’s Resolutions and Action Plans in upcoming posts, so please stay tuned. In the meantime, I am sure sometime this New Year’s eve I will have consumed champagne and still feel compelled to practice. I just hope I remember to move my car before doing so!

Happy New Year!

Central Alabama Community College

Central Alabama Community College is located in Alexander City, Alabama. Some may not consider this area to be in tremendous need of an indoor practice facility for a college golf team but we are located on the eastern side of the Central Time Zone which puts into darkness early in the afternoon late fall through early spring and Alabama does experience a great number of electrical storms in spring, summer and fall seasons.

CACC Golf has enjoyed a tremendous tradition in winning and if your team is not able to practice, other teams are getting better, while you’re inside watching horrific weather or having to head home during the shorter days in winter. We have solved these problems by coming inside and getting a lot of work done.

This year we installed 5 indoor hitting bays as well as a 15’x 35’ putting & chipping green. After a visit to the PGA Merchandise Show in 2008, I had no doubt in what netting system I was going to utilize – The Net Return. At the PGA Show, the Net Return booth kept drawing me nearer as I spotted people hit non-stop golf shots into the net using only 1 golf ball and without having to chase it down. I introduced myself to the Net Return staff and told them of my plans for the on-campus indoor practice facility and I was delighted to see how great these people were to work with.

My life has been surrounded around golf. I began playing at the age of 5 and that equates to 48 years of practicing, playing, teaching and coaching the game of golf. I’ve been fortunate to have played competitively across the globe and teach a large number of talented players. Throughout these many years in the golf industry the Net Return may be one of the most common sense and tremendous products I’ve come across.

Installation of the nets for our 5 full swing hitting bays took me less than an hour. The engineering of the frame and the net makes set-up and breakdown a breeze. The Net Return system is built to last while still being extremely light weight. In our situation, where we need to do a bit of vacuuming in the room, the Net Return System simply slides off to the side while we’re cleaning up and then with no effort at all, we slide it right back to its position. Since the first of the year, our Men’s Golf Team has fired thousands of hard-hit golf shots into our new nets and there is absolutely no sign of wear or tear.

Regardless if a golfer is looking for an indoor or outdoors practice net system the Net Return is the only way to go. No other company can compare with quality, craftsmanship, engineering and price like the folks at Net Return. At this year’s PGA Show, it was a pleasure for me to stop in to say hello to these fine people and give honest and unsolicited testimony to their product to those who stopped by.

If anyone has any concerns of the Net Return, I would be pleased to answer any questions. This is a great product!

Dear Paul

It was great seeing you at the PGA Show last month. I have attached a video of me using the net in my garage. I don't even have to break it down as my wife can still fit her car in. I have saved hundreds of dollars by not having to pay $10.00 at the range each time.

The "Net" is Awesome!

I've had the net up for about a week, I've been hitting about 50 balls in the morning and 50 in the evening.  I have a ceiling height of 7'9", plenty of clearance for a full swing.  The net is a higher quality than what I thought, the ball is fully absorbed by the net and design of the frame.

I am really impressed!

Sincerely,

When I bought the Net Return the owner asked me what my objectives were and I told him I wanted to become a low to mid 80's golfer with a good looking golf swing. Paul took the time to send me a 'To Do' List that basically said do at least 100 swings for 60 days in a row without fail and I'll guarantee you will shave at least 4 strokes off my game.

Well Paul, I'm back to tell you that around the 40th consecutive day my swing started to really come together. What seemed to be over night I picked up 15-20 yards with my driver and every other club in my bag. I started hearing the sweet sound a well struck ball makes...Wow Wow Wow...

Where I was averaging 3-4 mis hit or bad shots per side,I am here to say those mis hits are all but gone. Seeing what I got out of these 60 days has made a total believer out of me.

The design of the Net Return is brilliant, it's light weight yet durable, setting it up was a no brainer and requires no tools. The parts are all color matched, just snap them together and go.

Most importantly with the Net Return you only need 1 ball not loads like other nets require. I could have gone on spending $300 a month at the range and not improved anywhere near as quickly as I have with the Net Return. As far as I'm concerned next to my new clubs, it was the best investment I could of made. With the economy moving in the direction it has, not only is the Net Return giving me hours and hours of entertainment and exercise here at home but I'm getting lots more Bang out of my Green Fees Buck.

Thanks for bringing golf to my limited amount of space.
It's time for my 100 swings...Gotta go!! Fore!!!!

My ten year old daughter has become a golf nut like her dad and wanted a practice net for our basement. After an exhaustive search into the many available options it became obvious to me that the product that fit our needs the best was the NetReturn. We have an unfinished area in our basement with high ceilings and plenty of room to swing every club in the bag.

 Golf Net Picture in Basement

I purchased the Pro Package for Golf version of the NetReturn which includes a 6x10 premium artificial turf plus the NetReturn with side barriers.

The NetReturn is stupid easy to assemble. I don't have any mechanical ability whatsoever and was able to complete the assembly in less than 10 minutes. The tubular aluminum frame has color coded ends that you simply snap together. A super high quality nylon sleeve attached to the net slides over the tubular aluminum frame with ease. It is a really smart design.

The net cleverly returns the ball to you very gently regardless of the speed of the ball going into the net. A 160 mph drive comes back to you at the same rate as a gentle little chip or pitch. The net also gives you some feedback regarding the direction of your shots, as straight shots are returned straight back and shots blocked or pulled offline are returned at an angle. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the net and my daughter loves it. We are both looking forward to sharpening our ballstriking skills and keeping our golf muscles in shape over the winter months. There are definitely cheaper options, but this product is so perfectly designed that I think it is well worth the price.

Thank you so much for sending the net overnight. It was a pleasant surprise. My daughter came home from school and went crazy. I want to thank you so much for a quality piece of equipment. If every golfer had one of these, the national scoring average would finally go down.

Hi Paul,

I’m not sure how many of your products go out to Canada, but it has been invaluable to my golf game.  Prior to purchasing your product, I realized that my game needed a lot of practice.  Simply put I wasn’t making good contact with the ball and I’m sure that most recreational golf have the same problem.  Going out to the range isn’t so simple in Canada (today is April 29, 2010 and it’s snowing outside)!  The Net Return has allowed me to practice every night on my game.  I have been able to straighten out my swing, practice with and new 3 wood, and learn new techniques.

One thing that wasn’t mentioned on the testimonials that I read was the fact that you can practice putting with the golf turf.  Every night I practice 10’ putts and it has vastly improved my score.  I have been able to reduce my score by over 10 strokes and even more importantly my shots are consistent.  I have become a more confident golfer by using your product.  I rarely recommend products, but the Net Return is an excellent investment.

Thanks

WOW!!!!!.... Awesome product!!...... very seldom do you get something that actually does what it says it will do. Everything about this order has been terrific, the product, shipping, ease of assembly and quality.

Paul, it's been a pleasure dealing with you and your company. If I can ever help in any way or if you have someone in this area who wants to hit some balls before buying just let me know.

Thanks!

This is a very high quality product.

One of the reasons I was always hesitant to purchase a net is because I wasn’t sure of the durability of many products on the market. This is a product that is built for many years of use. I feel that The Net Return is well worth the investment and I would highly recommend this product for people who want to improve their game. I will always take quality over the cheapest price. I love the it!

The Net Return is outstanding !!

Needing just one ball to practice, (no matter what club you hit the ball comes back to its original spot) there are no longer 500 or more golf balls in our old driving net, the practice room always looks great. As a training tool it's fantastic because the return of the ball shows either a push or a pull. It really helps the players on their follow through.

Great product and very reasonably priced to fit any budget.

Hats off to the engineering,

The product you sold me has been nothing short of OUTSTANDING!

I could not be more pleased with the net, turf and tee turf. I have probably hit somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 balls so far. Congratulations on a great design and a great product. It is everything you said it was and then some. In fact, I just dropped my "range plan" at my local club ($240.00 per year) now that I have the Net Return.

This is an awesome product! I setup it up in 5 minutes. The net is high quality and allows me to practice in my garage. I have also been using it for Soccer, Lacrosse and Baseball.

The design is GREAT!

The Net Return Pro Series

Many sports nets would shred to pieces under the stress of a 200 mph golf shot. Others might rocket the shot back at the golfer like a bullet, causing serious safety concerns. Only The Net Return sports nets are designed to safely absorb up to 200 mph shots and gently return the ball back to the ball-striker’s feet.

The Net Return's innovative Pro Series training nets utilize a patent pending design feature that absorbs the shot and then gently returns the ball to the feet of the athlete offering the versatility to practice anything from hitting golf balls to soccer shooting techniques, whether in an outdoor or indoor setting. The patent pending return feature uses the momentum generated from the ball hitting the net to send the ball softly back to the user’s feet. This feature greatly increases efficiency and quality of practice time by reducing the time spent chasing after balls.

The Net Return Pro Series nets stand 7’ 5” tall, 8’ wide and 3’6” deep and is made of a lightweight 1.5’ tubular aluminum frame and weighs approximately 28 pounds, making it very easy to transport. The sleeved net is made of heavyweight polyester and the entire structure can be easily assembled without tools thanks to the Push Button Quick Color Connect System. The Push Button Quick Color Connect System ensures assembly, by a single person, in less than five minutes.

A year round indoor / outdoor way to work on tempo, setup and mechanics of my swing - at home. I get more productive practice sessions at my convenience, without beating a bucket full of balls. My kids have also been using The Net Return for Baseball and Soccer practice.

I love it!

I operate a golf training and club making facility and I am writing you to let you know how impressed I am with the Net Return "Pro Series" that I recently ordered from your company.

In my 15 plus years of teaching, I must say that this is the highest quality and most user friendly net system that I have ever used for my business. It is easy to put up and take down to use at trade shows and it is great for lessons and club fittings. Also high quality commercial construction. You have a real winner in “The Net Return”.

Some sports net’s would shred if struck with a high-velocity golf shot. Others would dangerously rocket the ball back at the golfer. Our testers loved The Net Return, which sets up easily and can be used indoors or outdoors; extremely strong, gently absorbing every shot from every club.

A great training tool for golf!

Hi Paul,

I recently purchased a Net Return for my twin 14 year old boys. The on-line video was very helpful along with the fact you were selling through Amazon. The boys love it, and are spending even more time outside kicking the soccer balls into the net return. The net exceeded expectations!

All the best,

Jonathan Wellum

Paul, I like it so much I don't know where to start so here goes...

I purchased The Net Return because I live in the Pennsylvania countryside and practice requires a drive of 30+ miles or so. I first saw the Net Return in Naples, Florida at a friends house. He gave me your contact info and I went to the web site. Everything I read was exactly what I experienced when the net and mat arrived  (which was 3 days after purchase).

I set it up the next morning this was pretty easy. I have been practicing daily. So far in just a short time I have improved my aim and direction. I am hitting the ball solid and getting some improvement in my distance. I like the fact that it is convenient and I have added a mirror to help with my alignment.

Overall everything your web site has promised has happened - I couldn't be happier.

Thank You,

Harold Farley
Titusville, PA

After destroying a cheap net in just a few days I decided to spend the extra money and give The Net Return a try. This product is fantastic!

With 2 young kids I have little time on the course and so having a net in my basement is great. I've been playing to a 10 handicap for 2 or 3 years but I am convinced that this will help groove my swing and get me into single figures. Unlike other nets there is no slamming sound because the ball hits net rather than canvas.

You can use any club without having to worry about your follow through as there is no hood unlike the more dome like shapes. You can therefore swing freely. It's well made and well thought out and up in minutes.

A thoroughly great product for any handicap and for anyone who wants improve or just has the urge to hit a few balls in the middle of watching the golf channel.

As one golfer to another, get this product.

Thanks,

Steve Griffiths

Greenwich, CT

Awesome Product!

This product works exactly as advertised. I have it set up in my garage that has a 9' ceiling and I can hit every club from lob wedge through driver. The amazing thing is how the net returns the ball to your hitting position. This is great for trying to create muscle memory. From the time you hit a shot until the ball is back ready to be hit again is about 2 or 3 seconds. If you are hitting at the rate of a shot every 5 to 10 seconds you can work through your whole bag very quickly. I have found that I typically don't even have to bend over to position the ball. My process is to setup, hit, analyze, setup and hit again. I would guess this process happens every 8 to 10 seconds. All with one ball.

This is a great aid for trying little tweaks to your swing because the feedback is so quick. Of course you can't see the actual ball flight, but there is enough feedback by watching where the ball hits the net (follow the ball) and by the fact that a ball with a hook spin will come back to you slightly to the right of the centerline, and a slice spin will be returned to the left.

Before I bought this net, I was shooting around 100. My goal was to be able to break 80 by the end of the summer. Less than one month after receiving the net, I have already broken 90 and am consistently shooting in the mid 80's. I have used this net nearly every day. It's great to be able to watch a golf instruction show like the Golf Fix on the Golf Channel and then go out to the garage and try out some new drill.

I was not sure that it was worth spending the extra money for this net when you can buy nets at the local golf store for a fraction of the price. I am so glad I spent the money. I was planning to use this both outside on a large wooden deck and in the garage. It assembled just as advertised. In the month that I have had it, I have not moved it outside. It is so convenient having it in the garage that I just leave it set up all the time so I can hit balls whenever the mood strikes me.

If you are contemplating buying a cheaper net, don't do it. Buy this net and you won't regret it.
